pics, video women's 400m final Rio Olympic 2016 Shaunae Miller's dive to win over Allyson Felix of US thus taking the gold. it was on of the toughest competitions of the rio olympics 2016. though the woman Miller from bahamas had a good start, at the final moments of the race Felix nearly overtook her but a big dive at the end (god knows whether it was intentional or she was running out of energy) and the advantage of her height (6 feet 1 inch 1.85 metres) made her finish first ahead of the american woman. The dive is legal as per the rules of the athletic federation books.

Ms Miller finished with a time of 49.44 seconds ahead of Allyson Felix (49.51 sec) with a gap 0.07 seconds.

Ms Miller is from The Bahamas which consists of more than 700 islands, cays, and islets in the Atlantic Ocean; north of Cuba and Hispaniola, northwest of the Turks and Caicos Islands; southeast of the US state of Florida and east of the Florida Keys. Its capital is Nassau on the island of New Providence.
